Over the years I have tiled floors, shower stalls and fireplace mantels.   Using the same techniques in a much smaller design turns out to be jewelry.   What fun.  Making a pattern with small pieces of glass, nano tiles and beads creates a variety of designs.     You can mix and match colors, shapes and sizes, glass and beads.   You start by choosing the blank inlay that will be used for the framework.     The size and shape of the inlay will control the design.   After you have your blank inlay and have created your pattern with beads/glass, you glue the beads/glass to the blank and let it dry thoroughly.   After it is dry, sandless grout is applied to fill in the spaces between the beads creating the mosaic look.
